Robin is a highly experienced Grand Prix Rider, competitor, and trainer. With over 30+ years of experience that encompasses horses and riders of all levels, Robin is able to develop a training program that suits each rider's individual needs.
Robin is a 1984 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Industrial Relations. Her passion for riding and horses began a young age and she now has over thirty years of experience in the Horse Industry. Robin currently oversees Acorn Hill Farm which is located in Madison, Virginia. Since 1994, Robin has been training and developing young horses while competing at the Grand Prix level of show jumping.
Some of her major accomplishments have been competing for the USA in Nation Cup competitions. She has also competed throughout Europe against the best in the World. Her other accomplishments include competing in Mexico and South America, and winning Grand Prix’s at Upperville, Devon, and Spruce Meadows, Canada.
In addition to teaching and managing Acorn Hill Farm, Robin is also President and Executive Director of the 501.c non-profit organization—HEART—Humane Equine Aid and Rapid Transport. HEART is an ambulance service for injured equines. HEART provides this service at events from New York to Florida, west to Kentucky, and south west to Oklahoma. HEART is involved with show jumpers, steeplechase, quarter horse, and polo events to name a few.
Robin’s outside interests include riding motorcycles, and traveling.
