Carrig View is an exceptional mover who possesses very good bone and an unbeatable temperament. A sire of substance yet he retains the athleticism the Irish Sport Horse is known for. A young sire, Carrig started his show jumping career in 2000. He began his Eventing career in 2004 and regularly finishes in the top three. Carrig View is an ideal Irish type with lots of substance, an excellent cross with light TB types.

Lineage
Carrig View is by Carrabawn View (RID) by Mountain View(RID) these sires are producer of many eventers, and show jumpers in Ireland. Carrig is a great grandson of Clover Hill, Ireland's leading performance horse sire, whose progeny have excelled world wide in the fields of eventing, show jumping, and fox hunting. Several of Clover Hill's offspring are found in the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses (WBFSH) rankings for show jumpers and eventers. His dam Carrig Villa is by the thoroughbred Ballinvella, the sire of many Olympic quality eventers and show jumpers.
