Tinka's Lad is a 16.3 hand, Bay 1997 approved Anglo-European stallion by Tinka's Boy out of
Feodora by Farnese. He was bred by Mrs. M. Marsh of Heathcroft Stud of Croft, England.
Tinka's Lad was purchased in 2002. During the past year he has shown in young jumper
classes both in the United States and in Europe. He qualified for the Young Jumper Championships
held at the Hampton Classic in 2003.
During 2003 Tinka's Lad showed in Young Jumper Classes for 6 year olds in the United States;
Spruce Meadows,Canada; Hickstead, England; and Valkenswaard in The Netherlands. He had over 16
top 10 placings including second at the Spruce Meadows North American Championships.
Tinka's Lad's first foal crop arrived in 2005.
Lineage
Tinka's Boy is a 1989 KWPN stallion by Zuidpool out of Esprit by Zeus. He is currently showing
in International Grand Prix classes and is ridden by Marcus Fuchs of Switzerland. In 2003 he was
ranked third in the world by the World Breeding Federation and in 2002 he was ranked second.
Show Results
Tinka's Lad, ridden by Robin Sweely, placed 2nd in the 2004 Finals for 7YR Olds at the Hampton
Classic. The team was invited to the 7-Yr. Old World Championships in Lanaken, Belgium along
with stablemate, Coming Star.
